Maksim Chermerkovskiy missed this week’s “Dancing with the Stars” due to a calf injury — and he’s already taking big steps to overcome it.
On Wednesday, Maksim posted a pic of himself in a hospital gown, writing, "Gettin’ un-broken.” He added the hashtag, “#seedsorthopaedics,” which is in reference to Seeds Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine, based in Ohio.
Nearly a year ago, Dr. William A. Seeds posted a Facebook pic of Maks, his fiancée Peta Murgatroyd, and his brother Val, writing, "So proud to be on the set of Dancing with the Stars watching my friends and hard working patients perform. There are no limits to Orthopaedic care. Very proud of them and my wonderful staff.”
After Maks' surgery, Peta posted an adorable pic of their son Shai, writing, "Wishing Daddy a speedy recovery from La La Land 👩👦We love you and can't wait to get you back💋💋💋 Kisses from Shai XO.”
Maks suffered the calf injury on Friday while rehearsing with dancer partner Heather Morris, who danced with Alan Bersten this week. He could be off the show for weeks.
