Mel B & Stephen Belafonte Split After 10 Years Together

After nearly 10 years of marriage, Mel B has filed for divorce from husband Stephen Belafonte.
In the divorce papers obtained by "Extra," Mel cited “irreconcilable differences” for the split. The date of separation is listed as December 28.
The former Spice Girl and “America's Got Talent” judge is requesting joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, Madison, 5. She is also asking the court to deny any request for spousal support.
The divorce shocker comes at the heels of her father's death earlier this month.
Just a month before filing for divorce, Mel posted a pic of herself kissing Stephen, writing on Instagram, "My baby boo @stephenthinks11 we have been through everything that would normally tear couples apart and we have come out on the other side stronger. You loved me before I even new how to really love myself, you are my world honey."

She acknowledged their marriage with the hashtags, "#tenyearsmarried #fightfortheineyoulove #theysaiditwouldntlast #bitcheswishtheyhadthis #nowtalkaboutme.”
The two secretly married in June 2007 after only five months of dating. Mel was married to Jimmy Gulzar from 1998-2000.
