Criss Angel Passes Out During Straitjacket Trick, Rushed to Hospital

UPDATE: Angel recovered from his mishap, successfully completing the same stunt Saturday evening, People magazine reports.
Illusionist Criss Angel was rushed to a Las Vegas ER Friday after he passed out attempting an escape trick.
TMZ reports the performer was onstage as part of his Mindfreak Live! show at the Luxor Hotel when eyewitnesses say they were told the show was over 10 minutes into the opening act. Angel had spun for two minutes in a straitjacket suspended above the stage, attempting to get free, but instead lost consciousness.
Angel was taken to Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center. He was released the same night.
