George Clooney & Wife Amal Expecting Twins

Actor George Clooney is going to be a dad for the first time!

“The Talk” host Julie Chen confirmed that Clooney and wife Amal are expecting twins. She said, "'The Talk' has confirmed that the 55-year-old superstar and his highly accomplished 39-year-old attorney wife are expecting twins… What we did find out, that no one else is reporting, is that the twins are due this June... congratulations!”

For weeks, rumors swirled that Amal was pregnant after she was snapped wearing loose clothing. Amal was recently spotted wearing a long sweater, which hid her baby bump, while walking through Barcelona Airport with George.

Back in his bachelor days, George joked about the joys of not being a parent. He shared about enjoying time with other people's kids, telling "Extra" in 2005, “You can play with them — they're like nieces and nephews — and then you pump them full of sugar and shove them back to the parents.” Watch!

The news comes nearly three years after George and Amal tied the knot in Venice, Italy.
