'SNL' Takes on Donald Trump's Press Conference
Alec Baldwin revisited his impersonation of President-elect Donald Trump in a nearly eight-minute cold open on "Saturday Night Live," just days after it was confirmed he would only return after Trump's inauguration.
Skewering Trump's recent chaotic press conference, "Trump" started by stating, "Yes, this is real life, this is really happening. On January 20th, I — Donald J. Trump — will become the 45th president of the United States. And then two months later, Mike Pence will become the 46th."
The sketch needled Trump over the talent lineup for his inauguration, reports of a Russian sex scandal ("It didn't happen... and it wasn't as cool as it sounds!"), his reluctance to accept the intelligence community's finding that Russia hacked the election and his proposed Cabinet's bumpy confirmation hearings.
Kenan Thompson brought out his Steve Harvey to mock the talk-show host's recent selection by Trump to work on inner city policy.
