Megyn Kelly Leaving Fox for NBC
Megyn Kelly is exiting Fox News for a new gig at NBC News!
Megyn confirmed the news on Twitter, saying, "I have agreed to join NBC News, where I will be launching a new daytime show Monday through Friday, along with a Sunday evening news magazine program. I will also participate in NBC's breaking news coverage and its political and special events coverage."

Though Kelly was offered over $20 million to remain at Fox after her contract expired, she decided in order to accept a less lucrative offer from NBC News.
NBC UNiversal News Group Chairman Andrew Lack added in a separate statement, “Megyn is an exceptional journalist and news anchor, who has had an extraordinary career. She's demonstrated tremendous skill and poise, and we're lucky to have her.”
Last month, Megyn spoke to “Extra's” Renee Bargh about the speculation that she was leaving Fox News. She commented, "I love Fox News, I love my job there, I love the Murdochs, working with them, my colleagues… it would be very hard to leave, but I also love my three little people, who are 3, 5 and 7, in my house; we have to find a way to do better there. Right now, my hours are the opposite their hours. They come home at 3:30 and that's when I go to work — that's not good enough.” Watch!
Megyn, who has been part of Fox News for 12 years, became a bigger name after challenging Donald Trump last year during a contentious presidential debate.
