Ryan Reynolds & Blake Lively’s Baby Girl Has a Name — What Is It?
Nearly three months after her birth, the name of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively's baby daughter has been revealed!
Us Weekly confirms that their bundle of joy's name is Ines.
Last week, Ines and her older sister James made their public debut at Ryan's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. At the ceremony, Ryan told “Extra's” Renee Bargh, "This is one of the rare occasions when we thought we got to bring the whole clan. I'd regret it in 20 years if I didn't.” Watch!
The pair took their sweet time before they revealed James' name, too. In March 2015, three months after she was born, Ryan joked on the “Today” show, “It's Butternut Summer Squash,” before confirming, "It's James. Everyone knows.”
He further explained why he didn't want to reveal her name at first, saying, “I didn't want to be the first guy screaming it out to the media. Because as we know, little girls turn into teenage girls and little teenage girls sometimes scan through the archives and go, 'Why did you do that?'”
Earlier this year, Ryan also defended his decision to name his daughter James, telling "Good Morning Britain,""In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I feel like we're not really breaking any new ground here. I mean, I didn't call her Summer Squash Meadowlark or something… I also thought of just going with all the letters being silent in her name, so it would just be 'Haa.'”
