'Vanderpump Rules’ Star Scheana Shay Files for Divorce

After two years of marriage, “Vanderpump Rules” star Scheana Shay has filed divorce from Mike Shay.
The couple said in a statement to E!, "While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship.”
Reports recently surfaced that the couple had been having a rocky few weeks. They put the rumors to bed, saying, "Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters.”
Scheana took to Twitter Wednesday afternoon to share her gratitude, "Thank you all for the love today! It's never easy to split with someone you still love, but we will always remain friends.”
It looks like we won't have to wait long to see the dissolution of their marriage — the breakup will most likely be aired on “Vanderpump Rules.”
A few weeks ago, Mike posted to Twitter wearing his wedding ring and holding a copy of the Los Angeles Times, "Don't believe everything you read. I love my wife and will always love my wife. Whatever is going on between us will stay between us! #pumprules.”
Scheana added, "Looking into the future! 🔮 The truth will come out this season on #PumpRules so stay tuned! 💕” At the time, it seemed as though they were optimistic about figuring out the relationship.
The pair, who were teenage sweethearts, had an elaborate wedding in 2014 which played out for the Bravo cameras. The SUR family was in attendance including Lisa Vanderpump, her husband Ken, and their tiny pup Jiggy.
