Source Reveals How Janet Jackson Plans to Start a Family
Janet Jackson has been through a lot the past couple of months.
First she postponed her Unbreakable World Tour due to a health issue, then she announced she was postponing again to start a family.
Now, a source is speaking out to RadarOnline.com about the 49-year-old star and husband Wissam Al Mana's plans for a baby.
The insider said, “Janet has put her fans first her whole life. They are her world and, of course, she is devastated that she had to postpone the tour for another year, but Janet's health crisis this year really made her much more aware of her age. She is approaching 50, and at this stage of her life all that she wants is to become a mother.”
The source continued, “Janet postponed her tour because she is going to be adopting a child or using a surrogate to have a baby in the next couple of months.”
Claims that she plans to adopt or use a surrogate differ from the statement she made earlier this month when she told fans that the doctor was telling her to rest up.
Jackson told her fans in a video, "We're in the second leg of the tour, and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you be the first to know. My husband and I are planning our family. So I'm going to have to delay the tour.”
She added, "Please, if you can try and understand, it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up — doctor's orders. I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can.”
