The ‘American Idol’ Finale Live Blog! Who Is the Season 15 Winner?
We are live-blogging the “American Idol” finale results episode tonight!
The show is sure to be a wild ride as past coaches return and former contestants take the stage before the Season 15 winner is crowned.
Will the winner be soul singer Trent Harmon or powerhouse La'Porsha Renae? Keep reading to find out!

10:01 PM: Time to find out who the final "American Idol" winner is! The top spot goes to... Trent Harmon!!! The soul singer is in tears as he hugs La'Porsha. Such an emotional moment. A clearly broken up Harmon sings his new single "Falling."
9:52 PM: Carrie Underwood is up next singing "Something in the Water."
9:44 PM: Former judge Ellen delivered a sweet and funny message, which even included a joke about Simon Cowell's nipples!
9:44 PM: There are more surprises in store! William Hung just rushed the stage to sing "She Bangs"!
9:41 PM: Simon Cowell just took the stage with Paula, Randy and Ryan! The gang is back together again! Simon just asked Paula to apologize to the contestants for being so mean over the years. Very funny! He followed up by thanking the contestants and fans.
9:40 PM: Feeling all the feels as Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson take the stage. The duo just gifted Ryan with a giant "American Idol" sign!
9:39 PM: Throwback videos of the judges and Ryan are the best!
9:33 PM: Former contestants Phillip Phillips, Lee Dwyze, David Cook, Nick Fradianai and Kris Allen are paying tribute to David Bowie!
9:32 PM: Did you spy Rupert Murdoch and girlfriend Jerry Hall in the audience?
9:27 PM: There is so much happening we can't keep up! Joshua Ledet was tearing up the stage, followed by Candice Glover and Melinda Doolittle singing "Joy to the World," but the stage is packed with people!
9:26 PM: Soul Patrol fans will be excited to see Taylor Hicks singing with LaToya London!
9:26 PM: Fantasia is back and singing her new country tune "Ugly."
9:25 PM: A group of crooners, including George Huff, Elliot Yamin and Danny Gokey took the stage together for a quick song.
9:21 PM: Wow, Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia Barrino, and LaToya London are together again onstage singing "Bridge Over Troubled Water."
9:10 PM: Jennifer Lopez is smokin' hot singing "Ain't Your Mama" in a super short ruffled dress with green headband. She follows up with a costume change and "Let's Get Loud!" Then, it is another costume change and some serious, and we mean serious, booty shaking!
9:02 PM: Jessica Sanchez takes on Celine with "The Prayer."
9:01 PM: Amber Holcomb and Ruben Studdard sing a sweet rendition of "Here, There, and Everywhere."
8:59 PM: Carly Smithson sings "Here You Come Again," followed by Clay Aiken singing "You Fill Up My Senses." Both reminding us of just how talented they are!
8:58 PM: Katharine McPhee and Casey James slow things down with Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now."
8:57 PM: Harry and his little friend Marley Fletcher just sang "What a Wonderful World" and it was just precious.
8:48 PM: Scotty McCreery is using those deep vocals to sing "Papa Loved Mama."

8:44 PM: The country gals are next! Diana Degarmo, Skylar Laine, Kree Harrison! Oh, Bucky Convington, Ace Young and Constantine just took over. Too cute. Lauren Alaina and Kellie Pickler just joined.

8:42 PM: Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood singing Stevie Nick's "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" is everything!

8:33 PM: Now, it's the "Idol" rockers! Bo Bice, Constantine, Caleb Johnson and James Durbin! Looks like Chris Daughtry just joined them to sing "Tobacco Road."
8:28 PM: Ryan just announced that Kelly Clarkson can't be on the show tonight because she is about to have her baby! Instead, she pre-filmed a medley of her hits... including "A Moment Like This." Aw, the memories! But still, we were so looking forward to a Justin & Kelly reunion!
8:21 PM: Pia Toscano proves she's still got those power vocals with Celine Dion's "All By Myself."
8:14 PM: Blast from the past! Season 8 and 9 judge Kara Dioguardi is sing Pink's "Sober." Then Season 11's Colton Dixon singing "Through It All," followed by Season 1's Justin Guarini and Season 6's Jordan Sparks singing her hit "No Air." They are coming fast and furious, and we can't keep up! Looks like Kimberly Locke, Kimberly Caldwell, Allison Iraheta and Larry Platt.

8:10 PM: Looks like Steven Tyler filmed a farewell video, reminiscing about his days on the panel with Lopez and Randy Jackson.
8:08 PM: Now, Trent Harmon and La'Porsha Renae are singing "It Takes Two," the same song performed by Season 1 contestants Kelly Clarkson and Justin Guarini.
8:06 PM: Dunkelman just introduced the judges, Harry Connick, Jr., Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban... and boy does J.Lo look stunning in a sparkling gold gown!
8:04 PM: Ryan Seacrest tries to start the show, but is interrupted by former Season 1 co-host Brian Dunkelman! Brian tells Ryan that being unemployed isn't so bad. He also has a message for Ryan, "You've done an amazing job hosting this show for all these years. Congratulations on all your success." He followed up the sweet message with a bro hug.
