John Legend Comments on Kanye West: ‘Let Him Live'
On Monday, John Legend and pregnant wife Chrissy Teigen spoke to “Extra's” AJ Calloway on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards about their Valentine's Day celebrations.
Before the couple attended Clive Davis' annual pre-Grammys bash last night, they had a romantic Valentine's Day. Legend shared, “I made her breakfast in the morning, yes; we got it started right.”
Ahead of the televised ceremony, John won his tenth Grammy for his song “Glory.” John's good friend Kanye West has been making headlines for his feud with Taylor Swift over his new song “Famous” from his latest album, "The Life of Pablo.” Of Kanye's recent Twitter tirades, John said, “I'm not gonna try and censor his tweets — let him live! I'm not gonna try and censor his Tweets.”
He continued, “What do you think someone's gonna say to him now that hasn't been said to him already about what he says in public?”
At the end of the interview, the couple picked a question from “Extra's” mystery bowl. When the two were asked what their favorite lovemaking song was, John sang a little of Marvin Gaye's “I Want You.”
