Jennifer Lopez Takes Over Thursday Night TV
Entertainer Jennifer Lopez has been a ratings blessing for primetime television.
Lopez's new show “Shades of Blue” premiered last night on NBC, grabbing 8.6 million viewers overall, making it the highest Thursday debut for the network in seven years. The show beat out the other shows airing on ABC, CBS, and NBC in its 10 p.m. time slot.
Jennifer also appeared on the farewell season premiere of "American Idol,” which kicked off in two parts, on Wednesday and Thursday on FOX. The show ruled on Wednesday, nabbing 19.9 million viewers from 8-10 p.m.
