Video! R. Kelly Walks Out of Most Awkward Interview of All Time
It doesn't get more awkward than R. Kelly's HuffPost Live interview with host Caroline Modarressy-Tehrani.
Kelly was supposed to be promoting his new album “The Buffet," but became increasingly upset by Modarressy-Tehrani's line of questioning as she asked about his sexually charged lyrics, and whether he has a healthy view of sex.
"I did not come here to get interrogated," he told her. “I didn't come here for a deposition. Do you know what a deposition is?"
While he managed to stay calm, he went on to turn the tables on the host asking if she drinks, noting what she does in her personal time has nothing to do with her professional life.
She continued by bringing up the fact that some fans have chosen not to buy his album due to past sexual-abuse allegations.
R. Kelly said he loves all his fans regardless of how they feel about him, adding that he loves Modarressy-Tehrani, too, to which she responded, “I don't need your love, sir.”
As the host tried to move on to another question, R. Kelly walked out, promptly ending the interview.
