Ruby Rose & Phoebe Dahl Call Off Engagement
“Orange Is the New Black” star Ruby Rose and her fiancée Phoebe Dahl have decided to end their engagement and go their separate ways.
After the news broke, Rose tweeted to Dahl, "@FAIRCLOTHSUPPLY remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together. I'm a better person because of all we shared.”
Phoebe responded to Ruby's tweet, saying, "You have brought me to my best and I will always love you. I can't wait to see what the future brings for us.”
Dahl also said in a statement to Us Weekly, "While we still love each other and support each other in every way, it is our mutual decision to part ways. Our break is not the result of any media speculation, and we want nothing but the best for each other. Thank you for respecting our privacy in this very difficult time."
A source close to the two told People that the split was amicable and their busy schedules and time apart were to blame for the breakup.
Ruby and Phoebe became engaged in March 2014.
