Halle Berry & Olivier Martinez Split
Halle Berry has filed for divorce from husband Olivier Martinez after two years of marriage, according to TMZ.
Berry and Martinez have released a joint statement to "Extra" that reads: "It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children's, privacy, as we go through this difficult period."
A close source told People, "They are keeping it amicable now. She is okay."
The two have one child together — their 2-year-old son Maceo.
This was Halle's third marriage — she was previously married to Eric Benét and David Justice. Berry was also in a five-year relationship with model Gabriel Aubry, with whom she has a daughter, Nahla, 7.
