Felony Charges Against Sean 'Diddy' Combs Dropped
Rapper and business mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs will not face felony charges following an incident at UCLA, says the L.A. Times.
Combs' attorney told the paper, “We are thankful that the district attorney rejected felony charges in this matter. This case never should have been part of the criminal justice system to begin with.”
The singer was facing three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.
Diddy was accused of swinging a kettlebell during a confrontation with a football coach at the university where his son Justin Combs is a defensive back.
The L.A. City Attorney will determine whether Diddy will face misdemeanor charges.
