Bobbi Kristina's Family Preparing for the Worst
It's a grim day for Bobbi Kristina Brown's family, as they hold vigil at her bedside.
According to People, the Houstons and Browns have been told that nothing else can be done for the 21-year-old, who was found face down and unconscious in a bathtub on Saturday. She has been in a medically induced coma, but a source close to the family told “Extra” she is not brain dead.
Her father, Bobby Brown, is said to be inconsolable. A source told People he has been “crying nonstop since yesterday.” The insider added, “We are grieving.” Today is his 45th birthday.
The decision to end life support is in Bobby's hands, but TMZ says he won't make any changes until after the weekend.
The family has begun to say their goodbyes, and one member explained, "If you saw her, you'd think she was just sleeping.”
They haven't given up all hope. The relative explained, "It's sinking in that this is it. We're all still praying that God will intervene and heal her body."
Reports have been circulating that Whitney Houston's family and Bobby Brown's family have been fighting, but our source says that's not true.
Meanwhile, Max Lomas, the friend who was with Bobbi Kristina and longtime boyfriend Nick Gordon on Saturday, has opened up about what happened.
Lomas (who has a history of drug arrests) and his camp claim that he dragged Bobbi Kristina from the bathtub and called 911. He was frightened and panicked, but didn't know CPR.
Gordon, who had been elsewhere in the house, came on the scene and administered CPR until help arrived.
