Exclusive: Tori Spelling on the State of Her Relationship with Dean McDermott Today
After the cheating, fighting, therapy and breakdowns, America's most watched reality couple, Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott, is back on… in a big way.
Tori told “Extra's” Mario Lopez, “We're doing really well. You know it's day by day and we're working really hard on our relationship. We're committed to each other as a family.”
It hasn't always been easy. Earlier, Dean revealed that he once contemplated suicide. The only thing that stopped him was their son Liam's Christmas play.
When Mario asked Tori about Dean hitting rock bottom, she said, “That was a difficult time… obviously the world knew that my husband had had an affair. What they didn't know was that he was suffering from depression. There was so much more than just the man that cheated on his wife. There was so much behind that. I think he's very brave for sharing that with people."
A few months later, Tori got sick and had to be hospitalized. While some tabloids said she had Ebola-like symptoms, Spelling explained, “People make up crazy stuff. I was just working like crazy. I have four kids. They all got hit hard with bronchitis...”
Tori also talked about the latest episode of “True Tori,” saying that drama ensues when her mom Candy shows up at Hattie's birthday party with a surprise guest… Tatum O'Neal. To top it off, Dean's ex wife is also at the party.
Spelling said of her mom, “With all due respect to the relationship, I don't really want to get into details, but it's not a relationship that's thriving at this moment.”
