Robin Williams: Suicide Was Reportedly Unplanned
Actor Robin Williams was making plans for upcoming projects just days before he hanged himself, leaving some to believe the suicide was not premeditated.
Robin's friend told TMZ that they spoke with him about several deals in the works just one day before his death, and the comedian was "completely engaged in the conversation."
The insider added there was nothing out of the ordinary when he spoke with Williams. "He [Robin] was unhappy, which he often was, but it was nothing unusual."
TMZ also reports that no one in his inner circle had any indication that the Oscar winner intended to kill himself.
Williams' friend, actor Rob Schneider, however, believes that drugs Robin was taking for Parkinson's may have been the trigger.
The “Grown Ups” actor tweeted his controversial views last week after Robin's wife, Susan Schneider (no relation), revealed Williams was dealing with early stages of the disease.
Rob wrote, “Now that we can talk about it. #RobinWilliams was on a drug treating the symptoms of Parkinson's. One of the SIDE-EFFECTS IS SUICIDE!”
He added, “The Evil pharmaceutical industry ADMITS TO OVER 100,000 people in the USA DIE A YEAR FROM 'PRESCRIPTION' DRUGS!!”
Several reports say Williams' family plans a intimate memorial for the actor, but that there may be a comedy benefit concert for charity in the San Francisco area.
