The photos were taken over the weekend while the newly engaged couple joined close friends Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber in Santa Barbara, Calif., to celebrate Gerber's 52nd birthday, along with their own happy news.
In this week's People magazine cover story, sources revealed more details of the surprise engagement, like how Clooney dropped to one knee to propose, and how he went to Dubai in March to meet his Lebanese-born, Oxford-educated fiancée's family.
A member of Amal's family told People, "They found George very easy to get along with, cool. They felt at ease with him immediately."
