NeNe Leakes Is Not Taking Sides in the Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams Battle

“Dancing with the Stars” contestant NeNe Leakes and partner Tony Dovolani joined “Extra’s” Tracey Edmonds at Universal Studios Hollywood, dishing on the epic fight between Kenya Moore and Porsha Williams on Part One of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” reunion show last week.

Leakes made it clear she isn’t taking anyone’s side. “Honestly, I am on team right... there is no team Kenya, no team Porsha. I don’t have to like you to say you're right. I can give it to you. You can’t taunt people, put things in their face, push them to the edge, and expect them not to retaliate.”

NeNe said she didn't expect things to get physical between Kenya and Porsha when they filmed the reunion show. "What I do know is since they both entered the show at the same time -- last season was both their first season -- I always felt like Kenya had something against Porsha. I don’t know why and she insulted Posha a lot."

The reality TV star also commented on rumors Moore will not return next season. "Kenya not returning next season would be hilarious. She hasn’t worked in ten years, and finally she has an opportunity to put her face out there. That would be crazy to think that she wouldn’t come back.”

As for her feud with friend Cynthia Bailey over Leakes’ on-air comments about Cynthia’s husband, Peter, NeNe explained she did apologize to Peter for calling him a b****, and everything was fine until months later when Cynthia got mad at NeNe.

Leakes said, “I think she got upset six months later because once the episode aired, once social media and the bloggers and people were talking about it, it brought up an old feeling inside of her and she thought maybe I should do something, maybe I should say something so she stopped calling me… she knows Peter is everything I said he was."

NeNe added, “I think the world of her, I will never publicly have a battle with Cynthia.”
