Can You Say Awkward? 5 Moments from Jimmy Kimmel’s Chat with Ex Sarah Silverman

Sure, Jimmy Kimmel and ex Sarah Silverman have moved on, but still… a face-to-face chat in front of millions of viewers can be a little uncomfortable.

Silverman paid a visit to “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Thursday to promote her upcoming HBO comedy special, “Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles,” and she made the late-night host squirm, just a little.

1. "It's Like I Never Left, Only You're Married!"

Sarah was happy to see all of Kimmel's show peeps, but had to poke at her ex about being married. "You heard about that huh?" Jimmy asked. Silverman quipped, "I think somebody texted me or something.” Kimmel began dating Molly McNearney after he and Sarah called it quits for good in 2009. Jimmy and Molly tied the knot this summer.

2. Box of “Jimmy's Things”

Sarah then proceeded to go through a box of stuff Kimmel apparently left behind when he, well, left. “I just figured I'd return them," said Silverman, including his old toothbrush, some socks, a Palm Treo charger.

3. Big-Ass Pair of Jeans

"These are some jeans of yours," Sarah said, pulling out some pants that looked much, much too big for Kimmel, not-so-subtly alluding to the fact he was a bit heavier when they dated. Sarah smiled, "That's a joke. I loved you! I loved you at your size." Jimmy laughed nervously, "Things have really changed."

The comedian also presented Kimmel with "a collage out of all the heads I cut out of our pictures together."
