‘GMA’ Weatherman Sam Champion Supports Elizabeth Vargas
“Extra” joined Sam Champion at his husband Rubem Robierb's "Bullets and Butterflies” art exhibition in NYC, where the “Good Morning America” weatherman talked about fellow ABC News colleague Elizabeth Vargas.
Vargas recently revealed she is being treated for alcohol addiction, and Champion praised her decision. “She’s a very strong woman. Addiction is a difficult thing. She’s powerful, she’s talented, if there is anyone that can overcome it, Elizabeth Vargas can.”
