Mariska Hargitay on Shocking Premiere of ‘Law & Order: SVU’
The Season 15 premiere of “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” left fans reeling, as Detective Olivia Benson's life-threatening ordeal with a serial rapist played out Wednesday night.
On an appearance on the “Today” show prior to the episode, Hargitay admitted it wasn't easy to shoot. "It was, without a doubt, the most difficult episode I ever shot in 15 years, and it was unlike anything I've ever done.”
She added, "But I have to tell you, after 15 years, to be nervous and scared and excited to go to work -- it's a pretty great thing."
“Law & Order: SVU” airs Wednesdays at 9:00PM on NBC.
