Katie Couric Is Engaged!
Adorable couple Katie Couric and John Molner are engaged! After nearly two years of dating, the banker popped the question over Labor Day Weekend.
Couric tweeted the happy news, saying, “Yes it's true! So touched by all the kind Tweets & warm wishes - thank you! A great end to the summer.”
Katie's rep told People that John proposed with a beautiful diamond ring at sunset on the beach in East Hampton, NY.
Couric's first husband, Jay Monahan, died of colon cancer in 1998. The couple had two children together, Ellie, 21, and Carole, 17.
The TV host will return for a second season of “Katie” on Sept. 9.
