Baby News! Busy Philipps Welcomes Daughter
It's a baby girl for Busy Philipps and screenwriter hubby Marc Silverstein! The two welcomed their second daughter on July 2, which they announced on Twitter.
The “Cougar Town” star posted a picture of her and the newborn with the caption, “So this happened…”
A rep told People, “Everyone is healthy and happy,” adding that the little girl weighed in at 8.5 lbs.
Busy's bundle of joy, who doesn't have a name yet, joins big sister Birdie Leigh, 4.
Philipps told the Huffington Post in April, “My daughter is super excited. She's actually incredibly helpful and … she's really understanding things, when I say like, 'Mom can't carry you right now because the baby in her tummy is pressing down on her bladder!' She understands what that means and she's cool with it.”
