Video! Leonard Nimoy & Zachary Quinto in Battle of the Spocks
“Star Trek” fans will get a kick out of a new Audi commercial that has original Spock Leonard Nimoy against newcomer Zachary Quinto.
Nimoy, who drives a Mercedes in the ad, steals the show from the Audi-driving Quinto. After Leonard beats him at chess, Zachary challenges him to a game of golf. The catch is, whoever gets to the country club last has to buy lunch.
Watch the video to see Nimoy sing his 1960s tune “The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins,” recreate the classic “I have been and always shall be your friend” scene from “The Wrath of Khan” and attack Quinto with a Vulcan nerve pinch!
Nimoy, 82, played Spock in the original television series and in several movies (not to mention his cameo in the 2009 "Star Trek" reboot).
Quinto will reprise his role as the pointy-eared Vulcan for the second time in the sequel “Star Trek Into Darkness,” in theaters May 16.
