Behind the Scenes of Gov. Chris Christie’s ‘Fleece’ Spoof
“Extra” went behind the scenes with Alec Baldwin and “Extra’s” Hilaria Baldwin, as they chatted about their part in Gov. Chris Christie’s surprise spoof that he premiered at the New Jersey Legislative Correspondents' Dinner.
The video begins in Christie’s office, where he is told the fleece jacket he famously wore during the Hurricane Sandy crisis is missing. Watch what happens!
Alec talked to “Extra” about his support for Christie. “Everybody always makes an issue about partisanship. I may not agree with certain people on every issue. Christie has been a great governor for the people of New Jersey in the post-recovery period. He's really got his hands in there and has done good work, so we really mean it when we say we admire Chris Christie.”
The portly politician also recently announced he underwent lap band surgery. He said, I did this for my wife, my children, and myself. The fact is it has nothing for running governor this year or with running for president any time in my life. This a hell a lot more important that running for president.”
