First Look! Kate Hudson on 'Glee'

Kate Hudson plays one hot dance instructor in the new season of “Glee.” Show creator Ryan Murphy tweeted a photo of the Oscar-nominated actress in full costume -- including fishnet stockings, a black leotard and jazz shoes.

Hudson, 33, plays Cassandra July, Rachel Berry's “negative reinforcement” dance instructor at the New York Academy for Dramatic Arts. In the photo, the actress is striking a sexy pose with her arms draped around a male dancer as he grabs hold of her thigh.

Cassandra is no sweetheart. Lea told E! News, "I've heard that [Rachel] has a challenging dynamic with Kate Hudson, so we'll see about that!"

Co-star Jane Lynch heard the same thing, she told E!, "Cassandra is mean and petty and yet there's a heart there too. She's really good. She gives Rachel a really hard time."

Sarah Jessica Parker will also appear this season as an editor for Vogue.com and mentor to Kurt (Chris Colfer).
