'Modern Family' Cast Goes Back to Work

Despite an ongoing salary dispute with 20th Century Fox, the cast of “Modern Family” had their first official table read for the fourth season on Thursday.
E! Online reports reps for the six stars -- Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Sofia Vergara and Ed O'Neill -- are set to meet with producers at 20th Century to resume contract negotiations.
Show creator Steve Levitan reportedly sent a letter to the cast, asking them to work things out amicably.
Bowen, Burrell, Ferguson, Stonestreet and Vergara filed a lawsuit on Tuesday, claiming their current deals violated California's Seven-Year Rule, which prohibits personal services contracts for more than seven years.
The five actors are currently taking home $60,000 per episode and all six are seeking hikes to "somewhere in the neighborhood" of $200,000 an episode.
