Vote! The Best-Dressed Ladies of the Met Costume Inst. Gala
The rich and famous were feeling hot and daring on the red carpet at this year's Met Gala in New York City. A strong, pouty lip color and a sea of provocative gowns adorned the stars in a fashion masterpiece at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
A sexy Gwyneth Paltrow sparkled in a form-fitting dress with a revealing slit that showed off her toned legs. Country singer Taylor Swift opted for a more sophisticated look in a custom-made J. Mendel gown in a dramatic gun-metal and peach hue. Supermodel Gisele Bundchen paid tribute to Alexander McQueen in a red gown created by the famous designer. Expectant mother Jessica Alba glowed in a floor-length gown from the Ralph Lauren Collection.
Also turning heads were singing superstars Rihanna and Beyonce, both wearing extravagant gowns that showed off their curves. Rihanna stood out with her long braided hair, wearing a see-through lacy Stella McCartney gown with one side appearing as if it were open.
Beyonce found it difficult to move in a skin-tight Emilio Pucci gown... the singer needed assistance getting up the stairs. She also didn't pose long enough for the photographers on the red carpet, subsequently causing the paps voice their dismay with booing.
Gwyneth, Taylor, Beyonce, Rihanna and Gisele were just a few of the stars who wowed the crowd with their trendsetting style at the gala. Tell us what you think. "Extra" and PopEater want you to vote now!
