Charlie Sheen Leaves Hospital and is Now Resting at Home
UPDATE: "Extra" has learned from a source that Charlie Sheen quietly left Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last night around 10PM, without surgery, and is now resting at home. Sheen's friends were able to sneak him past the camped-out press and paparazzi after he was released from the hospital.
An "Extra'" source, who just spoke directly to Charlie Sheen from his hospital bed, tells "Extra" Charlie told him, "I'm not dying." And now, "Extra" has learned exclusively why Sheen was rushed to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Early reports say Sheen was being treated for "abdominal pain." Our source, Charlie's friend Steve Brodersen, tells "Extra" the pain is the result of a hernia injury, worsened when Sheen laughed too hard at the TV.
Doctors tell Sheen he may need surgery as soon as tomorrow morning to repair the hernia, for which he's been treated in the past. Sheen's best friend Tony Todd is by his side in the hospital.
Charlie denies drugs were involved.
