Rep. Mary Bono Mack on Sex Photos: 'It's Nonsense'
"Extra" caught up with Rep. Mary Bono Mack at the 2011 Palm Springs Int'l Film Festival, where the congresswoman brushed off a recent tabloid report about sexually suggestive photos taken of her.
"It's just such nonsense and baloney," Bono said. "It's not even worth talking about after what's happened," referring the tragic shooting in Arizona which injured her good friend, Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
RadarOnline.com obtained the pictures (from an unknown date), which allegedly show Bono and former billionaire Edra Blixseth, one of Bono's campaign contributors, partying at Blixseth's $75-million Porcupine Creek estate in Rancho Mirage, California.
Bono told "Extra," "With all due respect, it's tabloid journalism. I live in a world where it's not tabloid journalism. I live in world where we talk policies, tax policies, how to create jobs, how to keep our country safe and secure and those are things I want to talk about."
Bono was widowed when her husband, entertainer/Congressman Sonny Bono, died in a skiing accident in 1998. She later remarried Rep. Connie Mack of Florida.
