Madonna and Child: Material Girls
Just 24 hours after a stalker scare, Madonna walked the pink carpet with daughter Lourdes for the New York launch of their clothing line, Material Girl.
Herald Square was packed with people trying to get a peek at Madge and her mini me. Stopping to chat with "Extra" special correspondent, PopEater's Rob Shuter, the duo talked fashion and their mother/daughter relationship.
Lourdes, dressed in her own design, said her mom is "the ultimate Material Girl." Madonna said, "I sang the song, she did the clothes... Everyone can [be a Material Girl] who loves dressing up, who loves having fun."
As to who's the bossiest, Lourdes points a finger at her famous mom. "I just yell the loudest," Madonna replied, adding, "Actually no, that's not true, [Lourdes] is pretty tough."
Madonna says that she raised her designer daughter, 13, to be "strong-willed, independent, opinionated... and sometimes that fires back at me."
