Angelina Jolie Visits Pakistan Flood Victims
Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie visited northwestern Pakistan on Tuesday to meet with victims of the country's worst natural disaster.
Jolie, on a mission for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, told reporters she met with mothers who have lost their children and families whose homes were destroyed by the massive floods.
"I am very moved by them and I hope that I am able to, today and tomorrow, be able to do something to help bring attention to the situation for all of the people in need in Pakistan," the "Salt" star told reporters.
Over 1,700 people have lost their lives following the flooding, and over 17 million have been affected.
Officials hope that Jolie's visit will bring awareness to the disaster and spark more relief donations. For more information and to donate, click here.
