Julia Roberts: Eat, Pray, Gripe about Dave
Does Julia Roberts have a beef with David Letterman over his comment that she has varicose veins? Nah, not really.
The actress appeared on "Late Night with David Letterman" on Wednesday night to promote her new drama, "Eat Pray Love," and playfully scolded the talk show host for introducing her as having varicose veins.
"I'm in the dressing room, watching, and in the intro you say 'And tonight... Julia Roberts' and then they say a problem with varicose veins!," she said. "I'm so sorry, I do have a couple of problems and we can discuss them, but varicose veins are not one of them."
Letterman then mocked surprise. "Hey, I had nothing to do with it. Those people over there, they're the ones who did that. Why would you do that to Julia? I'll tell you why, because you're jealous. You're all jealous."
