It's the Weekend to Tie the Knot!
Celebrity weddings were plentiful this weekend, with both Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher getting married AND Emily Blunt and John Krasinski.
"The Devil Wears Prada's" Blunt and "The Office's" Krasinski married in the picturesque Villa D'este in Como, Italy, UsMagazine.com reports.
The couple was staying at actor George Clooney's (who starred with Krasinski in "Leatherheads") Lake Como estate since the 4th of July, preparing for the wedding. Blunt wore a custom cream chiffon sweetheart-draped Marchesa gown with embroidered detail.
Krasinski, 30, proposed to Blunt, 27, after dating for a year, giving her a three-carat round Neil Lane diamond and platinum ring.
Then, after keeping their wedding location a secret until the last minute, Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher also wed this weekend at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, GA.
The country star, 27, and her NHL hockey player beau, 30, said their "I dos" before 250 friends and family in a ceremony featuring classical music and the couple's favorite Bible readings, People.com reports. Underwood wore a Chantilly lace dress created for her by Monique Lhuillier, who also designed the bridesmaids' dresses.
"We could not feel more blessed to have found each other and to have shared this day with our friends and family that mean so much to us!" the newlyweds told People in a statement.
Fisher, who plays for the Ottawa Senators, proposed to Underwood on Dec. 20, after quietly dating for about a year.
