Jessica Simpson: I Am 'Beautiful'
Jessica Simpson is ignoring her critics -- and taking her own advice about the power of loving yourself.
"We just wrapped POB and I am emotional... inspired... renewed... accepted...and beautiful!!!! I can't wait for everyone to share this journey :)" Simpson, 29, wrote on Twitter Friday after wrapping taping for her new VH1 reality series, "The Price of Beauty."
The show, which premieres next year, explores the meaning of beauty in cultures all over the world.
The series hit a personal note with Simpson, who came under fire earlier this year when an unflattering photo from a chili cook-off sparked a barrage of headlines about Simpson's weight.
Last month, Simpson was mocked for her size in a FOX NFL Sunday cartoon, prompting the singer to write on her Twitter, "I will never understand why people attack for a laugh. Own your beauty and don't listen to the judgment."
FOX later apologized for the hurtful segment, which featured her ex Tony Romo's Dallas Cowboys teammates.
