Sheen Baby Hospitalized Because of Weight
Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller's son Max is in the hospital because he is underweight, not because of a widely reported heart issue. Sheen's rep tells "Extra," that "Charlie and Brooke's infant son Max remains in the hospital... because he has not gained the weight necessary to leave the hospital. Max is expected to reach the weight requirement shortly and will join his brother Bob at home."
The rep also says, "The weight issue is very common among infants who were born before reaching full term. I know a lot of people are not fond of hospital food; I just didn't realize that they started so young." Charlie and Brooke "appreciate the outpouring of concern, but have assured everyone that both Bob and Max are fine."
Twins Max and Bob were born March 14, and are the couple's first children together.
