The high-priced call girl whose trysts toppled NY Gov Eliot Spitzer has broken her silence! Ashley Dupre, also known as Alexandra, took to her MySpace page to reach out to her supporters.
"Thank you all so much for taking the time to send me a bit of strength and inspiration via e-mail or comment," she writes. "Your words have touched me, and I thank you for that... with all my heart, I love you guys!"
This is the first time the hooker/singer, 23, has commented publicly since the spring scandal that caused Spitzer's downfall, though she's recently been spotted shopping, spending time with her mom and frolicking on the beach in a barely-there bikini.
She also tackles her critics, writing, "And to all the not so kind words ... I love you too, because it makes me push myself and want it even more. 'Hard times don't last ... only strong people.'"
