Teri Hatcher’s ‘Desperate’ Stunt Gone Wrong!
“Extra” was on the “Desperate Housewives” set as Teri Hatcher helplessly clings to an overturned car submerged in a lake, as James Denton runs to save her.
And while it was a planned stunt for the car to go into the lake, Teri revealed it wasn't supposed to flip over!
“We were upside down and sinking in the car,” she revealed. “Re-shooting wasn't an option and I went, 'I know, I know. Why don't we shoot the scene with the two of us hanging outside of the car?'”
