Last night, “Bachelor Nation’s” Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon made it red-carpet official at Nylon’s annual Young Hollywood Party, held at Avenue in Los Angeles.
Along with walking the carpet together, Ashley and Jared shared a kiss for the cameras!
At the event, Jared told People magazine, “There’s just this undeniable, magnetic force between the two of us that just is indescribable. Love conquered.”
He added, “As soon as we started dating, we both knew that this isn’t just for us to date as boyfriend/girlfriend — this was more so we were going to date because we see a potential life partner in each other. We’ve talked about it, but we’re just dating right now, we’re enjoying that. We literally just announced our relationship. The thing is, we’ve been so close for the past three years, I just know her inside and out. I know everything about Ashley.”
They’ve also talked about kids, too! He joked, “We talk about what they potentially could look like. I feel like we know what our kid will look like. It could go really good or it could go really bad. Between our features, we could have some serious pointy babies.”
She chimed in, “It’s funny, because looking back at old pictures of us as babies, we actually look like we could have been twins as 1 or 2-year-olds.”
Just hours earlier, the pair revealed that they were finally dating, three years after appearing on “Bachelor in Paradise” together. In an episode of her web series, “The Story of Us,” they opened up about how they met and when they eventually got together. He shared, “I never felt like it was over between us after 'Paradise.' I’m not gonna lie and say that I was in love with Ashley during 'BiP.' It was a slow build for me.” Watch!
She pointed out that he dumped her “twice” during “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Iaconetti went on to date Kevin Wendt after meeting on “Bachelor Winter Games,” but they split up in March. Jared admitted that he was “sad” about her dating Wendt, adding, “Sometimes I need a kick in the ass. That was a big kick in the ass.”
Jared also posted an Instagram, writing, “I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.”
