Last night, “Bachelor” alum Clare Crawley got engaged during an episode of “The Bachelor Winter Games: World Tells All”!
During the season of “The Bachelor Winter Games,” Crawley hit it off with Canadian “Bachelorette” star Benoit Beausejour-Savard, who felt strongly about her from the very beginning. Though they kissed on the premiere, she told him that she didn’t feel the same about him and he went home in tears.
After she went home to Sacramento without finding love, they reconnected. She revealed, “The second I got back to Sacramento, I checked my phone, and I had a message from a guy. Timing was so off but it was so perfect for me because it was a man that just cared about if I was okay.”
After Benoit came onstage, he proposed, telling Clare, “You’re the strongest woman I’ve ever met in my entire life.”
Her gorgeous handmade platinum ring was designed and signed by famed jeweler Neil Lane. The sparkler features an oval cut diamond surrounded by 84 full cut diamonds for a total diamond weight of 2.3 carats.
“Extra’s” Mark Wright spoke to the engaged pair backstage about the “surreal” moment. Clare held back happy tears, saying, “Trying and putting yourself out there makes it more than worth it because you find somebody that can be your perfect match.”
Benoit revealed what was going through his head before he popped the question, sharing, “I was shaking the whole entire Tell-All. We were the last one onstage… I had to manage my interior stress.”
Clare and Benoit also dished on their wedding plans! She said, “If it’s a ‘Bachelor’ wedding, it can’t help but be big.” He added, “It has to be big.”
Fellow “Bachelor Winter Games” contestant Jordan Mauger crashed their interview, asking if he could be a groomsman.
