Hillary Clinton’s Star-Packed NYC Fundraiser — Who's Who of Hollywood
Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton is one busy woman these days, but she made time for both her grandson Aidan and a star-studded fundraiser on Monday.
Clinton and husband Bill joined their daughter Chelsea as she left Lenox Hill Hospital in NYC with her new bundle of joy. Chelsea gave birth to Aidan on Saturday, with husband Marc Mezvinsky by her side.
Hours later, Clinton was surrounded by big names, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Matthew Broderick at a fundraiser held at Hollywood hot shot Harvey Weinstein's Manhattan home. Page Six reports that a “no social media” policy was in effect at the fundraiser, which was supporting Hillary's presidential run.
Earlier this month, she attended a concert at the Hollywood Bow held in her honor that attracted even more A-listers.
The day after her big NYC fundraiser, Clinton took the stage in Columbus, Ohio, to deliver a speech, in which she slammed Republican candidate Donald Trump. She said, "You might think that because he has spent his life as a businessman, he'd be better prepared to handle the economy. Well, it turns out he's dangerous there, too. Just like he shouldn't have his finger on the button, he shouldn't have his hands on our economy.”
She added, "Our nation's economy isn't a game. Every day we see how reckless and careless Trump is. He's proud of it. Well, that's his choice, except when he's asking to be president. Then it's our choice.”
Donald responded to Hillary's speech in a video on Instagram that was captioned, "Obama-Clinton inherited $10T in debt and turned it into nearly $20T. They have bankrupted America while making their donors rich!” Watch!
