Accompanied by Kinney on the red carpet, Gaga, who wore a Brandon Maxwell dress, confessed that she is "very excited" for him to be her husband.
The couple, who got engaged in February, have been working together to prep her for "AHS." She revealed that the "Chicago Fire" star has been helping her "very much, all the time" with her acting on the show. She plays the role of Countess Elizabeth, who runs Hotel Cortez.
On why she decided to be a part of "AHS: Hotel," Gaga shared, "I'm just a huge fan of the show, and I'm a huge fan of [creator] Ryan [Murphy]. I love the cast so much; they are all so talented and so disciplined, and I just wanted to be in it and where I would enjoy the creative process and the working experience, and it's been more than I could have dreamed of."
When Murphy was asked about the "Born This Way" singer, he raved, "She's the most professional, most hard-working… She kisses and hugs every crew member before she starts her day."
Gaga isn't just a fan of "American Horror Story," she is also a supporter of his new show "Scream Queens." He said, "She's obsessed with that show! She keeps asking me, 'Why haven't you written me a cameo? I want to go and be a Kappa girl.' Never say never, but I love that she loves it."
"American Horror Story" actress Kathy Bates also enjoyed having Gaga on set. "We didn't know what to expect, and she came in and we said, 'How do we address you?' 'Call me Stefani' — she says, 'That's what my family calls me,' and we really feel like we've become her family."
