Meet ‘Alex from Target’! He Talks About Being Compared to Justin Bieber
"Extra" caught up with Internet sensation Alex Lee aka #AlexFromTarget right after his interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show” (airing Wednesday) to discuss his overnight fame after a photo of him bagging items at Target went viral.
As for how this has changed the 16-year-old's life, he said, "This has definitely changed my life in big ways. I don't know what's coming next. I have so many things I can do with this."
On being called "The Viral Bieber," Alex laughed, "It feels pretty great… that I'm considered like [Justin Bieber]."
Alex shared that his friends and family "really think this is a great thing for me. They are really helping me through this and pushing me towards the right direction,” and his girlfriend is also handling the attention from his female fans well. “She actually thinks this is good for me, too.”
Presently, Alex is still working at Target, but added, “I haven't been at work since then, so I don't know what they're going to say whenever I come back."
