Holy Sinkhole! Tiger Woods’ Mansion in Need of Repair
Golf champ Tiger Woods has to take measures to make sure his $2-million mansion in Florida doesn't sink into oblivion.
According to Gossip Extra, Woods and GF Lindsey Vonn noticed cracks in walls and doors rubbing on the ground.
They've hired a contractor to shore up the 10,000-square-foot home by inserting giant screws called “helical piles” as deep as 24 feet into the ground.
Skip Barrett of South Coast Foundation Systems in Deerfield Beach told Gossip Extra, “This sort of thing occurs quite a bit in Florida. The soil has layers of organic matter that eventually decomposes. Once that happens, many homes start sinking.”
