New Arrest Videos! Reese Witherspoon Saying 'Crazy Things' on Dash Cam
"Extra" has the dash cam videos from the night of Reese Witherspoon's arrest! She admitted on “Good Morning America” that she said “all kinds of crazy things” to arresting officers that night. She wasn't joking. Now, you can see much of it for yourself. Watch!
Reese was taken in for disorderly conduct after her husband, Jim Toth, was pulled over for suspicion of DUI. Witherspoon got into hot water with the cops after she got out of the car while officers were trying to give Toth a Breathalyzer.
The videos show Reese as she tells cops, “I'm pregnant and I have to use the restroom,” “I'm an American citizen” and asks “I'm obstructing your justice?”
As the officer reaches to handcuff her, she says, “You better not arrest me.” At one point, while she's in the back of the cop car with Toth, he says, “All you should have done is let me get arrested.”
A never-before-seen clip also shows Reese after the arrest, speaking with another officer. She tells him “I'm pregnant, early pregnant, it's an early pregnancy.”
Witherspoon knows she and husband Jim Toth were in the wrong when they were arrested in Atlanta last month, but she explained herself on “GMA.” “I saw him arresting my husband [for DUI] and I literally panicked,” she said. “I told him I was pregnant. I'm not pregnant. I said all kinds of crazy things.”
Reese pled no contest to the disorderly conduct charges against her, while Toth pled guilty to the charge of driving under the influence.
The “Mud” star isn't the first person to get into an argument with cops. Check out this video of a man going off on an officer in Maine. (Warning: The video includes profanity.)
