Ashley Tisdale on ‘Scary Movie 5’ and Her Personal Life
Actress Ashley Tisdale joined “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at The Grove to dish about her upcoming role in “Scary Movie 5,” and her love life.
Tisdale said there are more horror parodies in the fifth “Scary Movie” installment. “We spoof 'Mama,' 'Paranormal Activity,' 'Black Swan' and 'Evil Dead.’”
The former “High School Musical” star explained, “It's very different from anything I've ever done, so I'm super-excited for people to see it.”
Asked if she feels pressure to break away from her Disney Channel roots, Tisdale said, “No, for me I just like to push myself out of my comfort zone. I don't feel like I have to run away from my fan base. I feel like I just want to grow with them.”
As for her personal life, Mario made Ashley blush when he asked her about having a boyfriend. “I do, yes,” then giggled that all is good. She is reportedly dating musician Christopher French.
Tisdale also admitted her celebrity crush is “Sons of Anarchy” star Charlie Hunnam.
“Scary Movie 5” hits theaters on Friday.
