Country singer Trace Adkins sat down for an exclusive one-on-one with "Extra's" special correspondent Alecia Davis to discuss the fire that nearly destroyed his Tennessee home in June.
Adkins, who was not home at the time of the blaze, was thankful to find out his wife and children had made it out safely without any injuries. "It's terrifying, but when you find out everybody's okay, then there's this unbelievable sense of relief," Trace said.
Trace's new album "Proud to Be Here" drops Tuesday, and the singer revealed, "The title was decided upon before the house burned down... now the irony is not lost on me."
